Essential Functions:
- Creating content for social platforms based on marketing messaging and goals
- Contribute to social strategy with fresh ideas for content, campaigns & contests
- Assist with tracking statistics and reporting as needed
- Research content that is relevant to each brand
- Identify companies with engaging digital and social media creative for inspiration
- Complete other research projects as assigned
- Participate in special projects as requested

Job Specifications / qualifications:
- Experience with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram is required
- Understanding of social media best practices
- Knowledge and understanding of engaging content
- Ability to create visually engaging content for social media posts (canva, photoshop, etc)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong editing skills
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Organized, attention to detail and creative thinker
- Good time management & multitasking skills
- Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of Google Drive applications (especially sheets and docs)
- A desire to learn and grow marketing knowledge
Compensation / Hours:
- 5-10 hours/ week to start
- $20/hour
- *Additional work hours and money available if you have proven skills with running Facebook Ad Campaigns (but not a required part of Social Media Coordinator position)
